The Cuteness: Handymaiden

Danielle Pederson, aka Handymaiden, makes tiny hand-painted animal scultpures, totems and medals. They are incredibly lovely, thoughtful and cute. I am particularly in love with her little tiny medals like the Badger of Honor Medal.

The Cuteness: Sir Hopsalot

Il_570xN.317106665

I'm on my way to Virginia to celebrate Easter with my niece and nephew. I can't tell you how excited I am to be on the other side of an Easter egg hunt! Almost as excited as this little bunny, Sir Hopsalot, made by Etsy seller Forest Blue.

Look at the bunny tail! I can't take the cuteness!

Hope you have a eggcellent (I'm sorry for the bad pun) weekend!

The Cuteness: Flossy Bobbins

Flossy-deer-4

Have you ever seen that movie The Wackness? It's a great movie in general and captures NYC sweaty summer adolescence in the early '90s really well but also has one of favorite movie quotes:
"You know what your problem is, Shapiro? It's that you just have this really $#** way of looking at things, ya know? I don't have that problem. I just look at the dopeness. But you, it's like you just look at the wackness, ya know?"
I'm all for the dopeness. I'm also all for the cuteness.

These Flossy Bobbins, by product designer Missy Kulik are the cutest way to organize your embroidery floss that I can ever think of. So, well, cute, that I am starting a brand new blog feature called (you guessed it) The Cuteness!

To buy them, check out Missy's Etsy shop.
Oh, and her blog is great too.
