The blog world is a-twitter with Liberty of London's collaboration with Target but since I was in the UK and nowhere near a Target, I figured I should hit up the original Liberty.

The store is pretty hard to miss as it is basically upholstered in one of the signature Liberty prints. I snapped a photo and didn't realize that I also got a shot of a couple smooching. I can't really blame them- pretty fabric makes me feel pretty amorous too!

It's pretty easy to find Liberty fabrics in the states now but what about mugs, envelopes, scarves, bags and even japanese washi tape covered in Liberty prints? Oh, it was heaven. The French boutique Merci had a little pop-up shop on the ground floor filled with all these aforementioned lovelies. I bought some tape and a make-up bag. I really wanted a few mugs but wasn't sure how they would fare in my luggage on the plane ride home.

PS- Don't worry, I stopped at Target as soon as I got home and got some mini-journals and a few hat boxes!
