What a glorious day it was! I was pretty busy doing, well, a million things, but I did get chance to watch some coverage of the Inauguration and a bit of the Ball. It's so easy to get caught up in the day, running here and there, sending emails and returning phone calls but when I stopped for just one second, I remembered what an amazing historical day it was. I could see it in the eyes of many of my fellow New Yorkers: people seemed happy, content, strangers were smiling at each other.
When the President and the First Lady took that stage and danced, I got a little choked up. And didn't Michele look stunning in her Jason Wu dress? I love that she takes fashion risks.
Speaking of fashion risks: oh Aretha, that bow! If this is any indication of what's to come I would say we are in for a fabulous ride.
