More Scandinavian Kitchens
We're doing a mini-renovation of our kitchen right now (photos to come!) so I've got kitchen organization on the brain. Most people agree that the kitchen is the heart and soul of a home and it's certainly true in this home. When people come over, we hang out in the kitchen, when I come home from work, I multi-taks (email checking, phone calls and dinner cooking) in the kitchen, when I need to take photos, i do it in the kitchen (it gets the most light!).
I am still really inspired by these Scandinavian kitchens and their artful, casual approach to organization. I like kitchens that are built for function but they still have to look good.
The ultimate in mug displays. While this display ultimately serves to hold a mug collection it also functions as an art installation on a wall.
We can't change out cabinets but I've really been attracted to colorful but minimalist cabinets lately. If I had my own home, I think i would install some cabinets like this.
This kitchen is so bright and happy. I can't imagine being crabby eating breakfast at this little table.
I love these long racks that you can hang anything on. It's refreshing to not feel like you need to hide everything you actually use in the kitchen!
